Irish Asphalt Pavement Producers Association

Transport in comfort and safety

what we do

Mission Statement

IAPA's mission is to serve as the voice of the Asphalt Paving Industry in Ireland and to ensure that the use of asphalt, as the optimum choice for the construction and maintenance of the Irish road infrastructure, is fully appreciated, promoted, and implemented.

Aims and Objectives

The purpose of the Association is to provide a comprehensive and coherent representation on behalf of its members and to serve as a contact point for state and public bodies. Our aim is to create a sound evidence base for promoting the economic, technical, and environmental benefits of asphalt paving in road construction and maintenance.

Asphalt Roads

Roads are the backbone of transport infrastructure in Ireland. We rely heavily on our road network to ensure that commerce and communities are properly developed and serviced. The construction of new roadways and maintenance of existing roadways requires a continuous and reliable supply of large quantities of asphalt products. Asphalt is a 100% Re-usable material, thus the use of Reclaimed Asphalt (RA) in new mixtures is an important part of meeting this demand and is actively promoted and encouraged by our members. The members of the Irish Asphalt Pavement Producers Association play an important role in ensuring that our national transport infrastructure is continuously improved and maintained to a very high standard.
